From the moment you arrive, Rio welcomes you with its energy, stunning coastline, and endless sunshine. Settle into your home away from home in the heart of Copacabana or Ipanema before joining the group for a welcome dinner overlooking one of the world's most famous beach destinations. As the excitement builds, you'll have time to relax, adjust, and soak in the city's vibrant atmosphere before gathering for a special beach picnic designed to bring everyone together. Complete with light bites, champagne, intention setting, and vision boarding for the year ahead, it's the perfect way to begin a week of adventure and connection.

Throughout the journey, we'll experience Rio's most iconic landmarks, including Christ the Redeemer and Sugarloaf Mountain, where breathtaking views of the city, mountains, and sea create unforgettable memories. We'll spend a day embracing Brazil's coastal lifestyle, whether that's cruising along Rio's stunning shoreline by boat, swimming in the ocean, and dancing under the sun, OR venturing to crystal-clear waters for a true tropical escape.

As New Year's Eve arrives, we'll slow down, get glammed up, and prepare for one of the most spectacular celebrations. After a special group dinner, we'll make our way to the famous shores of Copacabana Beach, dressed in white and ready to welcome the new year beneath dazzling fireworks lighting up the night sky.

The following day invites us to slow down and savor the start of a new year. Sleep in, lounge on the beach, explore charming cafés, and enjoy Rio's laid-back rhythm before diving back into the city's rich culture. Wander through the colorful streets of Santa Teresa, visit the iconic Selarón Steps, browse boutiques in Ipanema, and experience the creative spirit that makes Rio so unique.

As our journey comes to an end, we'll gather one final time for a farewell dinner, celebrating the memories made, the friendships formed, and the incredible year that lies ahead. En Route to Rio is more than a vacation, it's a celebration of adventure, community, and new beginnings in one of the most vibrant cities in the world.

The specific hotels (4-star or 5-star hotel accomodations), restaurants, and reservations times, will be confirmed as your trip date approaches & will be selected by your travel host and co-host, Bryanna Romero and Brandon Bolosky. These are included in the price.

Today is intentionally left open to help everyone adjust to the time zone and enjoy Rio at their own pace. Spend the day relaxing at the beach, exploring local cafés, shopping, or simply soaking up the sunshine.

In the evening, we'll gather for a special beach picnic and welcome gathering. Enjoy light bites, champagne, introductions, and intention setting for the year ahead. Travelers are invited to bring photos, magazine clippings, and small vision boards as we create our dreams for the new year together. This experience is designed to foster connection, reflection, and excitement for the incredible days ahead.

Christ the Redeemer Visit
Today we'll explore the very best of Rio de Janeiro. Standing high above Rio de Janeiro atop Corcovado Mountain, Christ the Redeemer is one of the most recognizable landmarks in the world and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. Towering over the city with arms outstretched, the statue has become a symbol of Rio and welcomes millions of visitors each year. Take time to admire the impressive monument up close, capture unforgettable photos, and soak in the incredible scenery from one of the city's most iconic viewpoints. From this vantage point, you'll see famous landmarks such as Sugarloaf Mountain, Copacabana Beach, Ipanema Beach, and Guanabara Bay, making this an unforgettable introduction to the beauty of Rio de Janeiro.

Sugarloaf Cable Car Experience
One of Rio de Janeiro's most famous landmarks, Sugarloaf Mountain offers some of the most breathtaking views in all of Brazil. Rising nearly 1,300 feet above the harbor, this iconic granite peak is reached by a scenic two-stage cable car ride that glides high above the coastline and surrounding mountains.

Day Trip to Ilha Grande
Today we'll venture beyond Rio to discover one of Brazil's most breathtaking tropical escapes. Known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters, lush rainforest landscapes, and laid-back island charm, Ilha Grande is often considered one of the most beautiful destinations on Brazil's coastline.

After an early departure from Rio, we'll travel to the port by car and then to the island by boat. We will spend the afternoon soaking in paradise. Relax on pristine beaches, swim in the warm waters of the Atlantic, explore the charming village, and enjoy plenty of time to unwind with your fellow travelers. Ilha Grande offers a completely different side of Brazil and is the perfect opportunity to slow down, connect, and experience one of the country's hidden gems.

As evening approaches, we'll gather for a special group dinner before making our way to Copacabana Beach for Rio's legendary New Year's Eve celebration.

Copacabana New Year's Celebration
Dressed in white, we'll join thousands of people on the famous shores of Copacabana Beach to watch one of the largest fireworks displays in the world. Travelers are encouraged to participate in the Brazilian tradition of jumping seven waves for good luck in the new year. This unforgettable evening is truly the heart of the trip.

Santa Teresa, Selarón Steps & Ipanema Exploration
Today we'll experience a different side of Rio de Janeiro, exploring the city's rich culture, vibrant art scene, and charming neighborhoods.

Our day begins with our private transfers taking us to Santa Teresa, one of Rio's most picturesque and historic districts. Known for its colorful streets, colonial architecture, local art studios, and bohemian atmosphere, Santa Teresa offers a glimpse into the city's creative heart. Wander through winding streets lined with unique boutiques, cafés, and galleries while taking in stunning views overlooking Rio. Next, we'll visit the world-famous Selarón Steps, one of Rio's most photographed landmarks. Created by artist Jorge Selarón, this vibrant staircase is covered in thousands of colorful tiles collected from countries around the world.
